Rule of Thirds

This photo applies to the rule of thirds because the rose is in the corner of the picture and in one of the thirds. I did this because things look different and more interesting when they are not in the center of the picture.

Rule of Thirds

This photo is affective because the ball  is on the cross line of one of the thirds and there is a blacked out rock on one of the other third.

This photo is affective because the boat lies across most of the picture even though it only passes through one of the thirds, there is also a rock in the background which crosses over in one of the thirds.

This photo is affective because your eyes are drawn to the rock which is in one of the thirds which makes it stand out.

This photo is affective because the sunset is in one f the thirds which makes it stand out more than it would if it was in the middle of the photo.

What makes a photo interesting.

The angle of the photo is interesting because you can take it from different angles, which make different affects such as if you had someone took a shot from above it would make them look smaller and if you took a shot from below it would make the person look bigger.

The simplicity of a photo is interesting because the photo is not always busy but has a simple approach so it looks good with out loads going on and doesn’t have to have loads to, make it look good.

The lighting is interesting because you can do something unexpecting with the lighting and make silhouettes with the person or object.

The emotions that you could capture are interesting because it shows how the minds work and sentimental things.

Sunset Beach

This picture of a beach is taken at a sunset so that the colours of the sky are mixed together the blues from the night sky and the orange from the sunset make and overall purple. With the colours reflecting in the water that has weaved in and out of the sand to give the picture a nice effect.
