Rule of Thirds - Lipstick

This photo has the rule of thirds because the majority of the focus is in one or two of the thirds. I edited this photo by cropping the background out that i didn't want and changed the background black and white. I added the lines with the rulers to make sure it was accurate then i went over them with permanent lines.

This photo is the original one this one has not been edited on Photoshop.

Black and White Lipsticks

This photo is the edited version of the original below I used the colour replacement tool in Photoshop to change the back ground from colour to Black and White, i left the top of the lipsticks in colour because I think it gives it a nice look to the picture, I then cropped it to cut out the background that i didn't want in there.

This is the original photo that has not been edited or anything.

Edited Flower

This photo is edited using Photoshop I used the colour replacement tool to take away some of the hard to get areas and I used the sponge tool to do the rest of it. I like it because I think it makes the flower stands out more than in  the original.

This is the original photo that has not been edited with Photoshop. I don't think that it stands out as much as the edited one.

Edited Photo

This is the photo i took of a flower i liked the angle, but didn't want the background or the colour so i edited it on Photoshop.

This is the photo I edited on Photoshop by using the colour replacement tool, and changing the whole picture to black and white then adding the stem green and the edges of the petals yellow. I also cropped the photo to make the flower stand out more. I think the petals look a lot more delicate than it did before.

Bad Photo

I think that this photo is a bad one without being edited because you can see the back ground which is quite busy and something has been cut out of the photo on the left hand side so that you don't know what to focus on.

Close - Up Photo

I think this photo is a good one because it is a close up so that you can see all the little details of the branches. This picture was taken at night to get the effect of the pink/orange sunset sky and it would be dark enough to make the branches look black.

Filtered Photo - Before and After

Before

and After
I have edited my photo with the cutout filter on Photoshop, to change it from the picture i had before to the one i had after.

Rule of Thirds

This photo applies to the rule of thirds because the rose is in the corner of the picture and in one of the thirds. I did this because things look different and more interesting when they are not in the center of the picture.

Rule of Thirds

This photo is affective because the ball  is on the cross line of one of the thirds and there is a blacked out rock on one of the other third.

This photo is affective because the boat lies across most of the picture even though it only passes through one of the thirds, there is also a rock in the background which crosses over in one of the thirds.

This photo is affective because your eyes are drawn to the rock which is in one of the thirds which makes it stand out.

This photo is affective because the sunset is in one f the thirds which makes it stand out more than it would if it was in the middle of the photo.

What makes a photo interesting.

The angle of the photo is interesting because you can take it from different angles, which make different affects such as if you had someone took a shot from above it would make them look smaller and if you took a shot from below it would make the person look bigger.

The simplicity of a photo is interesting because the photo is not always busy but has a simple approach so it looks good with out loads going on and doesn’t have to have loads to, make it look good.

The lighting is interesting because you can do something unexpecting with the lighting and make silhouettes with the person or object.

The emotions that you could capture are interesting because it shows how the minds work and sentimental things.

Sunset Beach

This picture of a beach is taken at a sunset so that the colours of the sky are mixed together the blues from the night sky and the orange from the sunset make and overall purple. With the colours reflecting in the water that has weaved in and out of the sand to give the picture a nice effect.
